# PLVs shall be literate, preferably matriculating, with a capacity for overall comprehension.

# Retired Teachers.

# Retired government servants and senior citizens.

# Anganwadi Workers.

# Students and law students.

# Members of non-political, service-oriented NGOs and clubs.

# Doctors/Physicians.

# Members of women's neighborhood groups, Maithri Sanghams, and other self-help groups, including marginalized and vulnerable groups.

# Educated prisoners with good behavior, serving long-term sentences in prisons.

# Any other persons whom the District Legal Services Authority or Taluk Legal Service Committee deems fit to be identified as PLVs.

☑ Remuneration: The works of PLVs do not carry any salary, remuneration, or wages except honorarium fixed by DLSA from time to time.
