NIT Silchar Internship 2024 Details
Name of Internship: Satyendra Nath Bose Summer Internship Program 2024
Duration of Program: Minimum duration of 6 weeks between June 01, 2024 to July 30, 2024.
Eligibility: External and Internal Students of B. Tech pre-final year (3rd Year - after completion of 6th Semester) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and 2nd semester students of Dept. of Management Studies are eligible to apply.
Application Process: Students may apply with the proposed research proposal.
Requirements:
# The internship will be under the mentorship of a faculty from NIT Silchar.
# Applicants above CPI 7 or 70% for external students and CPI 6 and above for Internal students can apply.
# For external candidates, a Bonafide cum recommendation letter is required from the parent institute. External candidates will have to select any one (online/offline) Internship mentioned in the application form.
# No accommodation will be provided to external students (outside NIT Silchar) for offline Summer Internship.
# The application form should be duly signed and forwarded by the Head of the Department (HOD) of that institution.
# Applicants are requested to contact the individual faculties of respective departments (www.nits.ac.in) and after getting consent from the respective faculty, they can apply for Summer Internship.
# Letter of consent from host faculty should be submitted along with the application form.
#Applicants are to submit a report to the individual faculty/department after the end of internship.

Step 1: Visit the official website - nits.ac.in/ugrc/ugrc.php and carefully see the eligibility criteria. Ensure that you meet all the requirements before proceeding with the application process. This applies to both internal candidates and external candidates.
Step 2: Write an email to the host (NIT Silchar Faculty Member) to accept your request for internship (Note: You may use sample email – see in Annexure I)
Step 3: “Application Form for Satyendra Nath Bose Summer Internship Program 2024” - This form requires the signature and endorsement of your Head of Department (HOD) for both internal and external candidates.
NOTE: Obtain the signature and endorsement of your Head of Department (HOD) before submitting the application.
Step 4: Finally, fill the “Online Form” for Satyendra Nath Bose Summer Internship Program 2024 and submit.
